JBA FALCON Roadster 3.0 litre Cortina based

Owing to loss of garage space I need to sell my 1985 built Falcon Roadster.

Tax free built on 1973 Cortina Mk111.

Powered by an Essex 3.0 V6 with fast road cam, and ported cylinder head.

Much recent work including electronic ignition, rewire. New reconditioned wire wheels and Vredestein tyres fitted together with new tonneau to cover folded hood.

Type 9 gearbox fitted, but original Type 5 included as is original Compomotive alloys with good Goodyear tyres.

Bonnet and boot resprayed, but a few marks on the wings/running boards which are age related.

Many, many spare parts too numerous to individually list.

Speedo showing 10k, but from the MOT's I think replaced when the engine was rebuilt in 2007, and the then speedo showing 30k. 1991 MOT shows 25297 miles and the 1993 one 123 miles. I can confirm that the engine had a £900 rebuild in 2007. While in my ownership I have replaced suspension bushes, track rod ends electric cooling fan, starter, alternator, and electronic ignition with which I thought that there was a problem which turned out to be an HT lead failure. I replaced all leads with a Magnecor set which have a 10 year guarantee. Much paperwork to read.

Price: £7000 firm.
